A chiropractor is a manual therapist with the ability to diagnose and treat complex issues arising from the musculosketletal and nervous systems. They provide hands-on soft tissue therapy, spinal manipulative therapy and many other modalities including acupuncture, dry needling, laser therapy, and shockwave therapy. Each of these techniques, including prescribed exercise are used to provide you with a comprehensive treatment plan specific to you and your condition.


Registered Massage Therapy

A registered massage therapist provides hand-on treatment to the musculoskeletal system including the muscles and fascia. They are an important part of your physical therapy team.

Dr. Sarah Beimers was born and raised on a dairy farm outside Pembroke. She attended Fellowes High School where she balanced sports, academics, extra-curriculars and working. Dr. Beimers’ academic career continued at Queen’s University where she graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology. She then went on to study at the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College (CMCC) and graduated Summa Cum Laude as a Doctor of Chiropractic. While studying at CMCC, Dr. Beimers became certified in contemporary medical acupuncture and took courses in active release techniques (ART) and movement assessments and patterning.

Dr. Beimers is passionate about patient-centered health care and applies an evidence-based approach to her practice. She combines research with the values and beliefs of her patients to create an individualized treatment plan for them. Dr. Beimers provides a unique combination of patient education, hands-on care (adjustments, mobilizations, soft tissue therapy, acupuncture), exercise, and lifestyle modifications to each of her patients to help them reach their goals and move and feel better. She strives to have every patient understand their condition and use that information to help themselves improve their well-being.

Dr. Foy is passionate about health and uses chiropractic and treatment plans that alter lifestyle factors to treat the root cause of the problem. Dr. Foy graduated from University of Ottawa with an Honours Bachelor in Health Sciences in 2010. He went on to study at Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College and graduated cum laude (Dean’s List) and with clinic honours in 2014. Dr. Foy completed training in Acupuncture during his final year at chiropractic college and has plans to pursue further interests in manual medicine, nutrition, and functional medicine.
